East Peak via Muir Beach and Bo-Fax

In my opinion, this is the “Lord of the Rides” in Marin County. I will never forget the first time I did this ride. I set out early one morning to climb Bolinas-Fairfax Road (Bo-Fax) in a timely fashion, and when I got to the top in the thick foggy rain, I felt so super-human and empowered by the journey I decided to attack the Seven-Sisters, the hills along Ridgecrest Blvd.  While I rode on Ridgecrest, I just kept thinking about East Peak.  I have never ridden it but …

Lucas Valley / Big Rock (clockwise)

Lucas Valley is an absolutely amazing piece of northern Marin County. There will never be an instance that you say, “I wish I did a different ride” after getting home from this one. No matter what the season, weather, or time of day, Lucas Valley is always sure to please, leaving you with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on your face.

Grizzly Peak and Three Bears

The majority of our rides are based in Marin County so this is an absolutely welcome and amazing change of scenery, complete with canapies of trees, rolling hills, never-ending views of both Oakland and San Francisco atop massive climbs, and amazingly refreshing excursions through the thick forests of the East Bay.  Even though you’ll feel constantly berated by climb after climb, none of them are too hard or too steep (but there are some very steep and extremely fast descents).  With this 50-mile ride, it’s …

Alpine Dam / Mt Tamalpais Loop

Alpine Dam / Mt. Tam loop is simply the essence of Northern California riding. It encompasses everything Marin County has to offer including straight flats, three mile climbs, solitude in the trees, undulating hills with impressive views of the Pacific Ocean from high on Mt.
